This is why Dr. Farrow offers Nitonox as an option for patients seeking a low-discomfort experience while they receive treatment. Nitronox is a delivery system that provides a gas mixture of 50% medical nitrous oxide and 50% medical oxygen. It is commonly used to help ease discomfort during some medical and aesthetic procedures, such as those involving injections and lasers. Accordingly, we are able to provide a service such as Nitronox which drastically reduces discomfort, and in many cases, anxiety for those receiving aesthetic treatments. Nitronox is classified as an analgesic which means it is specifically designed for pain relief. It is NOT classified as an anesthetic (a treatment meant to put you to sleep). If you experience any discomfort or anxiety during your treatment, you are able to inhale the gas mixture through a mouthpiece, as needed. Nitrous Oxide is administered by you and therefore you are in complete control as to when you need it. You will remain fully awake, responsive, and breathing on your own through the entire process. Nitronox can be used for most any treatment you would like to make more comfortable. The cost for Nitronox is $60. The cost for the inhalation tubing and mouthpiece is $20. This is a one time cost since you can keep the tubing and bring to your future treatments. * Membership discounts do not apply to Nitronox.
